Located on the west coast, Zhunan is often flat and typically more suitable for kitesurfing than surfing. When there are waves, it’s a good spot for beginners. The best time to surf Zhunan is at sunrise when there is little wind. The best tide is mid to high. The wind usually picks up mid-morning, destroying the wave for surfers but making the conditions good for kitesurfing.
