Thank you everyone for helping to clean up Songbai Harbor Beach! It was a beautiful day, and it's because of all of you that the beach cleanup ran so smoothly. Regardless of how much marine waste we collected, we are truly grateful for your participation in protecting our beach and marine life. We had an awesome time, and it always feels great to give back a little to the place we love the most, Mother Ocean.

Special thanks to a few surfers who spontaneously and enthusiastically helped pick up trash. Also, huge thanks to Bob and Dexter, who came early and were the last to leave, helping prepare everything and put everything away - you made things easy for us and we are deeply appreciative! A giant thank you to all the ocean lovers who participated in the beach cleanup at Wushi Harbor Beach. The weather was sunny and beautiful, and we focused our efforts on the embankment at Wushi Harbor Beiti. There was so much marine trash in that small area that we ran out of trash bags!

With everyone's efforts, in 3 hours we gathered and sorted 777 pounds (352 kg) of trash and recyclables, while enjoying doing our part in keeping Taiwan's most popular and visited beach clean! Awesome job!

Swelleye held its first beach cleanup at Su'ao Wuwei Harbor Beach on May 28th. We had surfed here a while back and noticed a lot of trash on the beach, so we decided to hold a beach cleanup event here to repay Mama Ocean for all the great memories we've shared here!

We successfully completed the 2/28 cleanup at Waiao Beach! A giant thank you to all the ocean lovers who participated in the event. The weather was perfect (even a bit hot!), and in 3 hours we collected 414 pounds of beach and marine trash! Thank you for everyone's hard work.

Let's keep working hard to keep Taiwan's beaches and oceans clean and beautiful. We look forward to seeing everyone at our next beach cleanup. You guys rock ... Sea you next time!

Due to the Covid epidemic and several children getting Covid, unfortunately the Surf & Ocean Conservation Camp at Waiao Beach had to be cancelled. However, our love for the ocean never stops, and after a nice surf we continued with our planned beach cleanup. We hope to keep our seaside clean and our marine life safe. Join us for our next event!

Swelleye sponsored and organized a beach clean up at Double Lions for the Taiwan National Clean Up Day, Taiwan's biggest clean up event, with 19 locations around the island. In total, 12,677 lbs (5,750 kg) of marine trash was collected!

Many thanks to all those who participated in the beach clean up. With everyone's efforts, we gathered and sorted 130 pounds (59 kg) of trash and recyclables. Thank you to Taiwan National Clean Up for all of your hard work organizing all the beach clean ups around Taiwan...no small feat!

Swelleye sponsored 4 beach cleanups with Ocean Peace and joined the beach cleanup at Yuguangdao Beach in Tainan. We were amazed with how well-organized these events were! The group from Ocean Peace were amazing, and we also enjoyed our time with Sea Through Love Taiwan and Chill A Wave Surf Studio!

Swelleye would like to express our gratitude to all the amazing people who came out to Fulong Beach! Not only did you withstand the scorching heat, but you also ventured up and down the rocky cliffs to make Taiwan’s coastline more beautiful. We are lucky to live in Taiwan, an incredibly beautiful island surrounded by a sea with abundant marine resources. Unfortunately, our precious sea is gradually being polluted. Our beaches are becoming full of trash, and our marine life is dying. Swelleye and Kafnu set off to beautiful Jinshan Beach to clean the beach and teach participants about ocean awareness!

Two days of total fun at Rising Sun Surf Inn with students from Taipei! We taught the children about ocean awareness and the importance of taking care of our environment. After the kids worked tirelessly in the heat cleaning the beach (including burying hundreds of puffer fish!), they were rewarded with surf lessons and fun in the ocean. Something about being around kids in the ocean that makes us adults feel like kids again too!

On June 4th we celebrated "World Oceans Day" with about 70 students from Toucheng Humanities Elementary. These amazing kids cleaned up the beach, made some art with the trash, then got to surf and play in the ocean. It was a wonderful day for everyone. Not only did the kids learn about the importance of keeping our coastal environments clean, they also learned how much fun the ocean can be!
