Gongs is an inconsistent reef break that offers both lefts and rights. There’s a fishing harbor here with a parking lot. The surf spot is about 200 meters south of the lot. Don’t try to enter or exit the water from the beach (especially during mid to high tide), as the concrete pilings make it very dangerous. It’s best to enter and exit at the harbor pier.

There is a giant boulder near the take-off zone, with the peak usually lining up just to the north of it. You can get lefts and rights here, depending on the swell, but don’t get too greedy with the rights as they will quickly crash onto the rocky beach.
