Green Bay is located between Jinshan and Keelung, and is adjacent to Wanli surf spot. Green Bay is a beach break, with fine white sand and a length of about 1,500 meters (4,900 feet). Its seaside is noteworthy for the nearby abandoned UFO houses from the 1970's, as well as the abandoned "castle" building, an old part of the Howard Resort Hotel.
Though Green Bay can often get overcrowded with surfers, especially during the summer, it offers numerous peaks to surf. The paddle out is also fairly quick and easy. Green Bay is a good surf spot for both beginners and advanced surfers.
There are no surf shops or public bathrooms here, so be sure to bring your own water for rinsing after a surf.
