Double Bridge is found along the Hualien Coastline Highway, at a rivermouth flowing under a bridge named “Double Bridge.” Similar to the cobblestone break at Donghe in Taitung, it offers both lefts and rights. A big enough swell can bring waves that are long and clean, but it can be a heavy wave with a fast section that quickly closes out onto the rocks.

To surf at Double Bridge, you should be an experienced surfer, and surfing with a partner is also recommended.
