Surfing in Taiwan

Taiwan's location makes it ideal for surfing. Our beautiful island, being on the western edge of the Pacific Ocean, enjoys the limitless Pacific Ocean fetch to the east. Located along the same latitude as Hawaii, Taiwan is blessed with consistent swell, a warm climate, amazing scenery, and hospitable uncrowded lineups.

Taiwan's waves are surprisingly consistent, with most surf spots breaking year-round. There is also a great variety of spots for all surfing abilities .

With a thriving surf community, a growing focus on surf education and competition, and an ever-increasing importance on protecting the environment, Taiwan's surf culture is becoming a vibrant one!
